Winter Activities

Telluride winters revolve around the Telluride Ski Resort's expanse of downhill trails, snowboard terrain and cross-country tracks. The 1700 acres of skiable terrain, almost equally divided between beginner, intermediate and expert, offer a diverse crowd of skiers and riders a wealth of adventures. The Hoot Brown Air Garden is a boarding and free-riding mecca, with eight acres of berms, tabletops, pyramids, rails and natural pipes. Ice Skating in Telluride Town Park

There are two outdoor ice skating rinks in Town Park, open from the first week in December to late February. In addition, a new covered rink, the Andy Hanley Ice rink/pavilion, is open November through March. For more information, call Telluride Parks & Recreation at (970) 728-2173.
